To provide seamless integration and effortless passenger movement, Multi-Modal Integration (MMI) facilities and state-of-the-art Station Plazas are being developed at Bullet Train stations. These integrated developments are designed to provide convenient access to stations while enabling smooth and efficient transfers between the Bullet Train station and various modes of local transport.

Under this initiative, the areas surrounding the Bullet Train stations will be comprehensively developed and seamlessly integrated with other transport systems such as buses, taxis, private vehicles and intermediate public transport. This will significantly enhance last-mile connectivity and provide passengers with a safe, convenient and well-organised transit environment.

The station plazas are being designed as vibrant, well-planned urban spaces that will facilitate smooth passenger circulation while enhancing the overall travel experience. The development of station areas includes the creation of essential commuter facilities such as parking areas, dedicated pick-up and drop-off zones for public and private vehicles, streetscaping works, pedestrian-friendly footpaths, informative signage systems, modern street lighting, CCTV-based surveillance systems, landscaping and plantation. Public conveniences and advanced fire-fighting systems will also be incorporated to ensure safety and comfort for passengers.

NHSRCL has already awarded contracts for MMI and station area development at Surat, Bilimora, Vapi, Bharuch, Anand and Vadodara Bullet Train stations, marking significant progress in integrated passenger infrastructure.

By seamlessly connecting various modes of transport while creating welcoming and green public spaces, this initiative reflects the vision of building sustainable and passenger-focused transportation infrastructure in India.

Progress of Surat Bullet Train Station

The steel structural and roof sheeting work of the building is completed and finishing work is in progress. False ceiling, wall and column cladding work, platform and concourse flooring work is ongoing. Track work is also in progress.

Progress of Bilimora Bullet Train Station

Rail and platform level slab casting work is completed. Structural steel erection work is completed. Architectural finishing and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) work is in progress.

Progress of Anand Bullet Train Station

The slab casting for concourse, rail and platform levels has been completed. Structural steel works for the roof and sheeting are completed. External façade structural work is done. Lifts and escalators are installed, while cladding work is in progress.

Progress of Vadodara Bullet Train Station

Slab casting at concourse and track levels has been completed. Platform level slab casting is in progress. Structural steel erection work is ongoing.

Progress of Bharuch Bullet Train Station

Rail and platform slab casting work and structural steel erection are completed. Architectural finishing works are currently in progress.

Rail and platform level slab casting work is completed. Structural steel erection work is completed. Electrical work for the station is in progress.
