Media Brief: A 260 m long PSC bridge over National Highway 48 at Navsari is completed for Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project

  • Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train corridor is crossing over National Highway 48 between Delhi & Chennai (passing through Gujarat & Maharashtra) at Amadpore village, Navsari district, Gujarat through elevated viaduct
  • This 260 meter long bridge is the First PSC Balanced Cantilever bridge completed over the highway by SBS (Span by Span) method
  • The bridge comprises of 104 segments with four spans of configuration 50m + 80m + 80m + 50m
  • The bridge is located in between Surat and Bilimora Bullet Train station
  • Since NH 48 is one of the busiest highways in the country, the launching over the highway was completed with meticulous planning and precision of execution
