As per the Minutes of the 207th meeting of the Expert Appraisal committee for project related to Coastal Regulation Zone has accorded the approval for the alignment of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project falling in CRZ areas of Gujarat State. The total length across the state of Gujarat is about 348 Km and It will pass through the districts of Ahmedabad, Kheda, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, and Valsad in Gujarat. National High speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), is a Joint Venture company of Government of India and Participating State Governments formed for implementation of High Speed Train Corridor Project between Mumbai & Ahmedabad.
