Casting of first slab started at Virar Bullet Train station. This slab is 50 meter in length and 35.32 meters in width and have a thickness of approx. 300 mm, utilising 1555 cubic meters of concrete. There will be 9 such slabs at this level which will form the base for track laying works at the station. Station will have two levels i.e. Concourse level and Rail level with a total length of 425 meters.
Virar Bullet Train station is located on a hill, thus the concept is based to depict the winds from the mountain.
