Media Brief: A 210 m long PSC bridge over NH- 48 at Navsari is completed for Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project on 1st October 2024

  • Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train corridor is crossing over NH-48 between Delhi & Chennai (passing through Gujarat & Maharashtra) at Sisodra village, Navsari district, Gujarat through elevated viaduct
  • This 210 meter long bridge is the 2nd PSC box-segmental bridge completed over the highway by Balanced Cantilever method
  • The bridge comprises of 72 precast segments with four spans of configuration 40m + 65m + 65m + 40m
  • This bridge is located in between Billimora and Surat Bullet Train station
  • Since NH-48 is one of the busiest highways in the country, the launching over the highway was completed with meticulous planning and precision of execution
